Sue McNaught is facing federal charges after her Hamm Road home in Lockport was found containing 343 animals on Tuesday. In a release Lockport Police said that "most animals were said to be suffering from some type of injury and/or respiratory illness."

The SPCA of Niagara County was called in to remove the animals. They found 31 snakes, 30 quail, 13 rabbits, 10 cats, five ferrets, two sun conures, 1 hedgehog, and about 250 mice/rats according to their Facebook. One of the snakes had to be euthanized due to its injuries and the hedgehog was wounded.

The SPCA is handling the investigation of the incident and the home has been condemned.

7 Eyewitness News reached out to the SPCA of Niagara County and they have yet to get back to us.
