It may be one of the most popular attractions at the Erie County Fair and has been for more than 60 years. What's not to like about "I Got It"? There are fabulous prizes, it's easy to play and when you win you can yell "I Got It!"

The Catlin family knows a lot about the game. Orrin Catlin or "Peck" as his friends called him, helped get the game going here in Western New York in 1961. His son Orrin Junior says "we built the original set in my Father's garage in Blasdell-we made eight units".

When BINGO was outlawed at firehalls in the early 60's, Peck put together the first "I Got It!" as a fund raiser for the Victory Volunteer Fire Company. Grandson Gary says that his grandfather even made some of the original prizes. "He made a lot of clocks and a lot of lamps, there are a lot of people in Western New York that have something that says "crafted by Peck Catlin" because they got it at a carnival"

Peck sold his game a year before he passed away, but "I Got It!" continues as an annual fun family attraction at the Erie County Fair.
