The Lakewood-Busti Police Department is investigating two separate incidents where fake $100 bills were passed.
Police say two businesses have accepted bills that are not actual currency. The bills state "For motion picture use only" on the front and back. Police say these are not legal tender.
Police are reminding businesses to stay cautious when accepting large bills.
Police have also released surveillance footage of a possible suspect. Anyone with information should call police at 716-763-9563.
