Lieutenant Governors to host annual meeting in Buffalo in 2021

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The nation's lieutenant governors will be making a trip to Buffalo in 2021.

New York Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul's bid to host the the National Lieutenant Governors Association annual meeting was a winner.

Hochul says this could bring $400,000 to Western New York, and says she's has committed to raising $130,000 to put on the conference.

“I am proud to welcome another great conference to the City of Buffalo and thank Lieutenant Governor Hochul for working so hard to make this a reality,” said Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown.

“My Administration has worked with Governor Cuomo and Lieutenant Governor Hochul to transform Buffalo and create economic opportunity for all. I look forward to Lieutenant Governors from across the country visiting our City and seeing the progress we have made.”
