A Chaffee woman is facing Leandra's Law charges after State Police say she was driving drunk with her five-month-old daughter in the car.

32-year-old Heather Gearman was pulled over by Troopers Sunday around 1:00 p.m. on Liberty Street in the Village of Arcade.  Police say she was speeding and crossing over the center line multiple times.  She was arrested after police say she failed field sobriety tests.  Police then searched her car and found "amphetamine/dextroamphetamine dosage units."

Gearman was charged with Leandra's Law DWI, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  She will appear in the Village of Arcade Court.
