Both Amherst Police and the Sweet Home School District are warning neighbors about a door-to-door PTA scam in the area.

Police say this is happening in the North French and Philip Drive neighborhood.
The District has been alerted to a situation involving three adolescent boys walking door to door in the N. French / Philip Drive area and asking for monetary donations in support of the PTA.
The district believes this to be a scam. Please do not give cash to these young men.

The Sweet Home School District posted on social media that they were notified about a "situation involving three adolescent boys walking door to door" asking for money to support the PTA.
The district asks that you do not give money to "these young men."
You are asked to call police if you see any suspicious activity in the area.
