A routine traffic stop quickly turned into a dangerous situation for police officers in Chautauqua County.
Police say 20 year old Trevon Tripp was pulled over near the corner of West 5th Street and Central Avenue in Dunkirk last Monday.
Officers say the had to use a taser after police say Tripp gave them a false name, locked himself in the car and then struggled with them.
Tripp is now facing a number of charges, including false personation and resisting arrest.
