A fatal crash on Grand Island claimed the life of a woman Thursday night.
New York State Police say 50-year-old Kimberly Perkins, of Buffalo, lost control of her vehicle while driving on the 190 South near Staley Road. Authorities say her car struck a fence, then collided with a tree.
It happened around 8:00 p.m.
New York State Police say they believe a medical condition caused the woman to lose control.
Authorities say Perkins was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Collision Reconstruction Units were on the scene investigating.
