Two shops busted for selling liquid nicotine to minors

Town of Tonawanda Police caught two businesses selling liquid nicotine to minors during an underage-vaping sales sting operation. 

Police used an underage decoy at all four designated 'Vape Shops' in the Town of Tonawanda to investigate the sale of of liquid tobacco products to minors. 

Two of the four businesses were cited: 

  • Chain Vapors, 894 Brighton Road
  • Yeti Vape, 2327 Sheridan Drive

Employees at both locations violated the state's Public Health Law prohibiting the sale of tobacco or nicotine products to people under age 18.

Fines for the offense range from $300 to $1,000. Repeat offenders may have their license suspended or revoked.

Employees are due in Town of Tonawanda Court on March 6th.
