The Amherst Police Department has issued an alert to locate 74-year-old Juanita Daniels.
Daniels was last seen leaving her apartment complex on Princeton Avenue in Amherst on December 1st, and she has not returned home since.
According to police, Daniels recently suffered a stroke that has affected her ability to get around. She was wearing a patch over her left eye at the time or her disappearance. People close to her report that Daniels has recently mentioned trying to visit a relative in North Carolina.
