Genesee County Sheriff's Office are investigating a 3-car vehicle accident that happened Friday night in the town of Bergen.
It occurred when a blue sedan tried to pass a van and struck a truck headed eastbound on Route 33. The truck was sent off the shoulder of the road and left on its passenger's side, deputies say.
When trying to avoid the collision, the van swerved and struck a utility pole, as well as a tree. According to authorities, The driver of the van, Hailee Callicutt of Batavia, was trapped and removed from the vehicle.
Following the incident, the driver was transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with a leg injury.
The other five people in the van were taken to Strong for minor injuries. Both people in the truck were uninjured.
Deputies believe a white male is operating the blue sedan with damage to the driver's side on the front and the side.
