      Police offer reward in a trio of suspicious fires

      The Olean Police Department in conjunction with the Cattaraugus County Fire Investigation Team is asking for information on the three recent house fires that occurred in the City of Olean, last year.

      A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the fire started at the apartment building located at 114 East Oak Street on October 30th. 

      Authorities are also looking for information on two other possible related suspicious fires at 218 S. 4th Street on November 8 and 424 2nd Avenue on November 15th.

      All three of these fires started in the early morning hours and these apartment buildings were occupied at the time.
