A North Tonawanda woman was arrested after driving while drunk, almost hitting a police car and trying to fight with officers.

Tonawanda City Police say Heather Kelly, 38, was pulled over on Prospect and Gibson Street after almost hitting a police car that was driving on Gisbson Street.

Officers say Kelly began kicking them while being placed under arrest.

Police say she has four revocations on her drivers license, a previous DWI conviction in 2013 and was driving without a court ordered interlock device.

Kelly refused a breathalyzer and was placed in lockup until she cooperated.

Kelly was charged with felony DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, driving without an interlock device, two counts of failure to yield and harassment.
