Police: Newfane resident leads police on chase, charged with Leandra's Law

Police say an intoxicated woman driving a black Honda, carrying a 15 year-old and 17 year-old passenger led police on a chase for about seven miles in the Town of Cambria Friday evening.

According to police, 43 year-old Amy Kling of Newfane was driving while under the influence on Saunders Settlement Road. The car was parked partially in the roadway. The car drove off during a traffic stop. Police were able to stop the vehicle by deploying spike strips. 

Kling is charged with driving while intoxicated, Leandra's Law violation, endangering the welfare of a child, and reckless endangerment.
