Police: Male laying in the road struck by vehicle

A 28-year-old male wearing dark clothing was struck by a vehicle late Friday night on Elmtree road in Orchard Park, according to police. 

Orchard Park Police say the person was already laying down on the ground before getting struck by the vehicle. 

The person was then transported to ECMC, where he is listed in serious condition.

Police impounded the vehicle. The vehicle is part of the ongoing investigation.
