Batavia police are asking for help identifying the driver of the car in this photo, in connection with an animal cruelty case.
In a Facebook post, the police department says they were contacted by a concerned citizen after finding that two black and white cats were left in the parking lot at the Batavia Middle School.
Police say the animals were left in a cage without food or water.
The animals were taken to the Genesee County Animal Shelter, and appeared to be in good health.
Anyone with information about the incident, vehicle, or the driver is asked to contact Batavia Police at (585) 345-6350.
