Police in Amherst and Depew are both investigating similar bank robberies involving what might have been a male suspect dressed as a woman.
Depew Police report the first robbery happened Thursday at Northwest Savings Bank in the 2000 block of George Urban Boulevard at 2:15 p.m.
Police say the person ran from the bank with cash, wearing a black baseball cap, a sweat shirt and black pants.
Amherst Police report the Bank of America in the Getzville Plaza on Millersport Highway was targeted around? ?3:40? ?p.m.?
According to police, the suspect,? ?dressed? ?as? ?a? ?female,? ?entered? ?the? ?bank?, demanded money? ?and? ?got away with? ?cash.?
