Town of Tonawanda investigators are asking for your assistance tracking down a woman involved in a potentially serious situation Saturday morning.

According to police, it happened at the Kwik Fill gas station on Military Road shortly after 11 A.M.

Witnesses reported that a black female in her early 20’s wearing a black hoodie and black pants was approached by a black male, unknown age, approximately 6 feet tall wearing a white T-shirt and black pants in the parking lot of the gas station. Witnesses said the male assailant engaged the female in an argument, while a silver or grey Kia Sedona (damage to right rear bumper) minivan with an unknown operator stood-by. The male and female began to physically fight, and the struggle continued as the male assailant was able force the female into the side sliding door of the minivan.

The male assailant then got into the vehicle with the female and closed the door as the unknown operator drove away. The vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Military Rd., turning right onto Merle and last seen then turning southbound onto Delaware Ave towards the City of Buffalo.

The Town of Tonawanda Police is requesting assistance from the public in attempting to identify the female involved and verify her well-being.
