A 17-year-old girl from Cheektowaga is in serious condition after a double shooting right next to the Canisius College campus.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Saturday on the first block of Glendale Place. The Montante Cultural Center is just feet from where the shooting took place.
Police believe a right of some sort took place at a large party at a home on Glendale. Ashley Kern of Cheektowaga and Marlon Clay, 20, of Buffalo were struck by gunfire.
Clay is in fair condition at ECMC, but Kern is listed in serious condition.
Kern is a former Varsity Cheerleader of the Month at Maryvale High School in Cheektowaga
