Two men face charges after police say they broke into a home and identified themselves as police officers.

Batavia Police arrested 22-year-old Kolton Cotter and 19-year-old Andrew Morris Thursday morning.

Investigators say the duo broke into a home on Swan street and then caused physical injury to the occupants of the home.

Police arrested one of the suspects in the home and used a taser to catch the other who fled on foot.

According to police, the two planned to enter the home by claiming to be undercover police officers and steal property.

Cotter and Morris are being held without bail on several charges.
