Police foil terror plot at local school

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says it has stopped a plan to attack a school.

Nineteen-year old Kyle Gordon of Fairport has been charged with making a terrorist threat.

Fairport is approximately 11 miles south-east of Rochester.

Gordon said he was going to attack an unnamed school at a "future date," according to authorities.

Gordon allegedly admitted to creating a list of items needed to carry out the attack, including bomb making materials, ammunition, knives, and was attempting to get a gun.
