All lanes have been reopened on Delaware Avenue after Buffalo police and fire responded to a deadly crash on Thursday, just before midnight.

Police say a 26-year-old man traveling southbound on the Delaware Avenue S-curves just past Nottingham Terrace lost control and struck the center portion of the 198 Bridge over Delaware Avenue.

Police say, the driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and had to be pulled out by Buffalo fire.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are now looking into the role speed may have played in the crash.

This is an on-going investigation.
