A tip on the whereabouts of a man wanted on an outstanding warrant lead Dunkirk police to a meth lab.

Police found Jeremiah Haas at 27 Leming Street with Torry Kenny in a bedroom belonging to Lydia Franklin.

Officers say while they were on scene they saw evidence of narcotic activity. After obtaining a search warrant, police found methamphetamine and materials to manufacture the drug.

According to officials, a ten-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy were in the home at the time.

All three individuals were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say further charges are pending.

Crews were on scene Tuesday morning to cleanup the toxic materials and for evidence gathering.
