Police find 17 bags of crack in parolee's home

Olean Police say they found 17 bags of crack cocaine and two bags of powdered cocaine at the home of a man who was already on parole for a drug possession conviction.

Police say they raided the Barry Street home of 45-year-old Elliott James Wednesday evening just before 10 p.m., and found the drugs along with cash.

James is currently on New York state Parole for a Criminal posession of a controlled substance 4th conviction from 2008. Police say James has also been arrested numberous times for drug charges in the City of Olean dating back to 1996.

James is currently in city lockup and is awaiting arraignment.
