Police car involved in crash in Buffalo

Buffalo police are investigating a crash involving a police car.

This happened at the intersection of Grider Street and Pembroke Avenue around 2:15am on Monday.

Accident investigators say a patrol vehicle, traveling north on Grider, was responding to a call with lights and siren when it collided with another vehicle.

Both the male officer and the 35 year old male driver in the other vehicle were transported to ECMC to be treated.

The 35 year old has been treated and released.
The officer is being treated for multiple injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.

Officer involved accident:
The incident happened at Grider Street and Pembroke Avenue at approximately 2:15am this morning.
