Around 12:30 p.m. today, Northeast District officers responded to a report of a shooting on the first block of Thatcher Avenue.
Detectives say a 33-year-old Buffalo man was struck by the gunshots. He was taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials are investigating whether a second person was struck by gunfire.
