State Police out of Jamestown arrested two people Saturday for DWI, one who officers say was driving the wrong way on I-86 and another who allegedly ran a red light.

Troopers were called to I-86 around 2 a.m. in the Town of Ellery on reports of an erratic driver who was speeding. Officers say they found the driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lane. Vincent Richter, 34, of Findley Lake was arrested for DWI. He reportedly had a BAC of .13 percent.

In the City of Jamestown, troopers arrested Marie Smith, 41, for DWI after they say she ran a red light on Buffalo Street. Smith reportedly failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of .15 percent.

While placing her under arrest, troopers say they took her passenger, 21-year-old Brittany Smith, into custody. Brittany Smith allegedly tried to interfere with the investigation and was charged with disorderly conduct.
