Amherst Police is looking for witnesses in a car-versus-pedestrian accident.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m. on Thursday. Police say the victim was crossing Youngs Road at Main Street in the crosswalk when she was hit by a 2014 Acura. Police say the driver of the Acura was making a left turn onto Youngs when he hit the victim.
The woman was brought to ECMC.
