A teenager pulled a knife on a plain clothes officer Friday in the parking lot of Jamestown High School.
The officer saw a fight in the parking lot around noon between several kids and went to break it up. He identified himself as an officer and the group dispersed with the exception of a 13-year-old boy, who displayed a pocket knife.
The officer disarmed the teen, who is not a student at the high school, and held him until other officers arrived.
The teen is facing menacing and weapons charges. He was turned over to a parent and will be petitioned to family court.
