Three people are facing charges after police responded to a home invasion on Bruce Street in Buffalo.

Police arrested 29-year-old Gregory Bell of Buffalo, 36-year-old Martin Calloway of Buffalo and 26-year-old Rickie Robinson of Amherst. All three are charged with attempted murder, burglary, robbery and criminal use of a firearm. Calloway is also charged with resisting arrest and obstruction.

Buffalo Police say the robbery happened around 1:15 p.m. Monday afternoon in a home on Bruce Street. Police believe the suspects targeted the specific home and were able to make off with a large sum of money.

Police say officers began chasing the suspects on foot, at which point one of the suspects began shooting at the police officers.

Officers were able to arrest one of the suspects shortly after the pursuit began, and a second suspect after a lengthy chase. The third suspect was arrested near the scene, and police believe that person may have been acting as a getaway driver.

Police recovered two handguns and a large sum of money.
