A SUNY Geneseo student is accused of stealing an ambulance and driving it around the village while drunk.

On Saturday, police were called to Genesee Hall on campus. First responders were there for an emergency medical call and their ambulance was stolen.

Officers found it on South Street, where they also found 22-year-old Colin Dahlberg. Police say he fled on foot when they approached him but was quickly caught.

Dahlberg allegedly had a BAC that was more than twice the legal limit. He is charged with second degree criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated DWI, DWI and driving out of class.

He was taken to the Livingston County Jail on $1,500 bail and police say further charges are pending.
