A SUNY Brockport Police officer is accused of conducting background checks not related to his duties.
Gary Miller, 39, of Batavia is charged with four counts of second degree falsifying business records, which is a misdemeanor. He was arrested November 30th.
It’s unclear whether Miller was on duty or off duty while conducting these checks.
A SUNY Brockport Police spokesman said Miller is currently on administrative leave while the criminal investigation is ongoing. The department is conducting its own internal investigation.
