Police in Buffalo are hunting for a potential child predator after a girl was approached last week.
Officers say the school-aged victim was waiting at a bus stop at Tonawanda and Farmer when she was approached by a heavyset white man who was wearing a diamond stud earring, a black jacket and acid-wash jeans.
The girl told police the man tried to grab her by the coat, but she was able to escape and run home.
Anyone with information is asked to call Buffalo Police.
