Bradford Police and McKean County officials have issued an immediate health hazard warning about a batch of heroin that, they say, will likely kill anyone that uses it.
In the past day, Bradford City Police have investigated one suspected heroin overdose where the person was revived with Narcan and another suspected heroin overdose where the individual was found dead on arrival.
In both cases, the same drug packaging materials were found at the scene. They were a white baggie that contains a picture of a dog bearing its teeth wearing a spiked collar. In an online post, police say, "The heroin in McKean County is deadly. It will not produce a better high but will likely result in death."
Police stress that while the heroin in these baggies are especially dangerous, the fatal narcotic could be in any type of packaging.
