A Williamsville man was allegedly driving drunk with a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit with a 12-year-old passenger in his vehicle.

State Police were called to a vehicle off the road on Friday on Main Street in Clarence. Troopers say when they arrived, they immediately noticed that William Crabtree, 34, smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.

He was taken back to the State Police barracks, where troopers say he failed field sobriety tests and recorded a BAC of .24 percent, three times the legal limit.

Crabtree had a 12-year-old passenger and was charged with felony DWI under Leandra’s Law.
