Police: man stole 17 guns from Jamestown home

A Jamestown man is facing burglary charges after police say he stole 17 firearms, electronic and other property from a home on Price Street.

Jamestown Police say 19-year-old Damion Carlson broke into the home on Saturday around 9 p.m., but got away.

An investigation led police to another location within city limits where police conducted a search warrant and recovered the stolen property and arrested Carlson.

Carlson is charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 1st Degree.

He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
