A Delevan man is facing sex crime charges after, police say, he tattooed a teenager in exchange for a sex act.

A State Police investigation found that Donald G. Howe Jr, 30, had inked a tattoo on a 16 year old girl at his apartment and then engaged in a sex act with the teen as payment for the tattoo. Investigators seized several tattooing tools from Howe's apartment as well as some marijuana.

Howe is now facing several charges - Criminal sex act 3rd degree (E felony), endangering the welfare of a child, unlawfully dealing with a child 2nd degree (Tattooing a child less than 18), criminal nuisance 2nd degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Howe was arraigned at the Town of Machias Court and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Yorkshire Court at a later day.
