Four teens have been arrested after police say they placed a phony online advertisement and then robbed the man who showed up.
Thursday afternoon, the man went to meet the supposed seller of a pair of sneakers on Olympic Avenue in Buffalo. But when he got there, police say a group of four armed teens robbed him of his iPhone and cash.
Officers tracked down the teens, arresting 18-year-old Dennis Martin, 19-year-old Justin Cox, 17-year-old Wayne Woods and 17-year-old Maryam Johnson. All are charged with first degree robbery.
Police say they recovered two weapons and the victim’s iPhone.
