A fire Saturday afternoon at a park in Amherst destroyed playground equipment, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
Police and firefighters were called to Paradise Park on Paradise Road around 3:30pm. By the time they got there, the playground equipment was fully engulfed in flames and a total loss.
The damage is estimated around $50,000.
Police are still investigating the fire and are asking anyone with information to call 716-689-1311.
