A 35-year-old woman is charged with driving drunk after she struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
Police say at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, Mary Claus rear-ended a driver on Southwestern Boulevard at Orchard Park Road. Police say the Orchard Park resident was intoxicated and a BAC of .254 percent, which is more than three times over the legal limit.
Ms. Claus is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, following too closely and three other vehicle and traffic violations.
She was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $2,500 bail.
