Donald and Bonnie George, the owners of the Painted Meadow Farm in Farmersville, are now facing another round of animal cruelty charges.

SPCA officials say the new charges are due to the conditions that the 600 plus animals were kept in as well as a lack of "basic animal husbandry." The Georges' now face a total of 24 animal cruelty charges in this case.

The Georges' will appear in Farmersville Town Court to answer the charges on March 8. 2016.

Law enforcement and SPCA officials came to the farm on Elton Rd in February after complaints that animals were not being cared for properly. The SPCA in Cattaraugus County has since "seized in place" over 600 animals at the Painted Meadow Farms.

The SPCA is looking for donations of feed and hay the various farm animals.  Donations can be provided to the organization by sending via mail, at PO Box 375, Olean, NY 14760, by dropping by the facility located at 2944 Route 16 N, Olean, NY, 14760, or by phone at (716) 372-8492.
