A man with three active bench warrants was taken into custody Friday after failing to stop at a stop sign.
Troopers pulled over William Clutter on Rt. 60 in Pomfret after they say he failed to stop, failed to signal a turn, and twice failed to signal a lane change. A computer check revealed the 60-year-old South Dayton man is wanted on three bench warrants for issuing bad checks.
Clutter was issued traffic tickets and then turned over to Jamestown Police.
