Police in Amherst are hoping the public can help identify a man who tried to rob a bank and ended up stealing from a bank customer.
It happened at 11 a.m. on December 4. The man walked into the bank and tried to rob it, but ended up stealing from a bank customer before fleeing in a taxi.
The man is described as black and in his 30s, 5’11” tall and 170 pounds, wearing all black.
