A man who admitted his role in the fatal shooting of man whose body was found at a scenic overlook is going to jail.

Thomas Hall, aka "Turtle," was sentenced to seven-and-a-half to 15 years behind bars as a predicate felony offender. The 54-year-old Olean resident pleaded guilty last year to second degree criminal facilitation.

Hall drove 29-year-old Gary Maull and Lamont Clemons, both of Olean, to an overlook off Route 16 in the neighboring town of Allegany in August 2014. Authorities say that's where Maull fatally shot the 54-year-old Clemons.

Prosecutors say Hall and Maull then dumped the victim's body in the weeds, where it was found the next day by passersby.

A jury found Maull guilty last month of second degree murder, according to the Olean Times Herald. He will be sentenced in March.
