A Lockport man is accused of breaking into buildings and cars in five towns in Niagara County.

Alec Baker, 21, of Lockport was arrested Tuesday after a concerned citizen called 911 about a suspicious person. Deputies pulled Baker over in the Town of Lockport and found he had an expired license.

His vehicle was towed and later searched. Inside deputies say they found items stolen from the Town of Lockport, City of Lockport, Pendleton, Cambria and Lewiston.

Baker is charged with third degree burglary, third and fourth degree grand larceny, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He’s being held on $10,000 bail.
