Man and teen accused of pistol-whipping victim

Police have arrested a man and a teen who they say pistol-whipped a victim with a loaded handgun.

Officers were called to an apartment on Newton Avenue in Jamestown early Sunday morning where the victim reported being assault. Police say they located the loaded gun in the trunk of a vehicle and then obtained a search warrant for the home of 22-year-old Aaron Miller.

He and a 17-year-old suspect are charged with second degree felony assault. Miller is also charged with second degree criminal possession of a weapon, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, menacing and reckless endangerment.

Police say they found crack cocaine, cash and another gun in Miller’s apartment.

Both suspects are being held.
