An Orleans County man is facing charges after he allegedly ran over a flock of seagulls in a parking lot.
Tyler Strassner, 19, of Kendall is being charged by the State DEC with illegally killing protected wildlife, illegally taking wildlife with a motor vehicle and illegally taking wildlife during a closed season.
Strassner allegedly drove his car into a flock of seagulls in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Albion on December 18. His arrest was announced December 30.
If convicted, he faces up to 720 days in jail and/or a $12,000 fine.
