A Buffalo man is facing charges after New York State Police say he was driving drunk with a 10-year-old child in the car.
Police say they pulled over 38-year-old Sakky Kanhalangsy on Saturday on I-90. They say Kanhalangsy was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.10 percent while he was driving four passengers, one of which was a child.
Kanhalangsy is charged with DWI with a child in the vehicle, which is a felony under Leandra's Law. He is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and numerous other traffic violations.
He will appear in Town of Newstead Court on June 15.
