Deputies say after nearly four years of investigation, they have identified the suspect responsible for the 2012 murder of Henry Ackley.
Jaron Ruth, 24, of Buffalo is charged with second degree murder as well as two counts each of first degree robbery and first degree burglary.
Deputies say on September 21, 2012, Ruth robbed Ackley’s Great Valley home, shooting and killing the 58-year-old in the process.
Ruth is currently serving a prison sentence on unrelated charges in the Orleans County Correctional Facility. He will be arraigned on these charges later this month.
