A former mail carrier in Western New York now admits he took bribes to deliver drugs to homes in Buffalo.

Dennis Bernhard, 56, of Derby provided addresses of homes in Buffalo to drug dealers on the West Coast. The drug dealers would send their wares through the mail.

When they arrived, prosecutors say Bernhard would hang on to them instead of delivering them to the unsuspecting residents of the address they had provided. Bernahrd would then allegedly seek between $200 and $300 per box to hand them over to a different party.

Bernhard, a mail carrier for 16 years, pleaded guilty to bribery.

He faces up to 15 years in prison when he's sentenced in May.
